Private contact

Start with one honest message

No judgement and no commitment. The first consultation is free, followed by a personal treatment plan if you choose to go ahead. Share what is happening and where you are: Bali, Spain, England or remote.

What to include

The first message can be simple

Say where you are, whether this is drug or alcohol related, whether the person is willing to accept help, and whether you need counselling, intervention, sober companion support or referral guidance.

Darren is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, call emergency services first.
What happens next

No pressure, no hard sell

The first conversation is about fit, risk and the next sensible step.

1. Darren reads the message

He looks at location, urgency, drug or alcohol use, family context and the type of support requested.

2. You have a private call

The free 20 minute call is a calm first conversation, not a commitment to work together.

3. You agree the next step

That may be coaching, counselling, family preparation, sober companion work, referral guidance or a different service altogether.

Contact FAQs

Before you send a message

Can I contact Darren for a family member?

Yes. Families often make first contact when someone is refusing help, minimising their use or leaving treatment without enough structure.

Do I need to know which service I want?

No. Explain the situation first. Darren can help you work out whether coaching, counselling, intervention, sober companion support or referral guidance fits.

Is the first consultation free?

Yes. The first conversation is free and focused on whether Darren is the right person to help.
